Memorial Day Blog Hop

Welcome to Operation Write Home's Memorial Day Weekend Blog Hop! We are currently holding our Tuesday Throwdown and have some wonderful digi stamps we are giving away from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. Please scroll down to the next post for more details.
This is my first time participating in this wonderful blog hop. If you hopped on over from Angela's blog than you are good to go, otherwise check out the start of the hop at Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps. There you'll find more details to this awesome blog hop and check out there site. There are tutorials and sketches that are really great to participate in.
I made this card using this adorable image from
Paper Make-Up. I colored the image in using coloring pencils and blending it with baby oil. Love using baby oil to blend. It works out very well and goes a long way.
Have a wonderful time blog hopping! Your next stop on the hop is
Ayana's Creations.

To all the service men and women serving our country, THANK YOU for all you do!!!

This is adorable. I've heard of others using baby oil but have no idea how to do it myself, but I am intrigued for sure! Must google :)

Adorable card - reminds me of the day we picked up my hubby last year from his deployment. Before heading to the airport my daughter (then 18 months) was fascinated by a snail! I may have to get that digi for her scrapbook! Thanks! And, as a military wife, let me say thank you for sharing your creativity to help bring families closer who are separated by duty.
