Tuesday Throwdown #145

Welcome to Tuesday Throwdown #145. We also want to say a huge thanks to everyone who joined us and played along.  It's never easy to choose the Top 3 for the week although we let Random.org pick the prize winner which is so much easier.  :-D  Without further ado, here's our prize winner chosen via Random.org:

Congratulations, Tracey! Please e-mail me at  tuesdaythrowdown@gmail.com

As if raising five children in the frozen land of the North was not enough of a challenge, Jodie Mackrell decided to dip her cold little Canadian toes into the world of papercrafting by opening an online store full of her illustrations. That was two years ago. Today, Bugaboo Stamps is one of the leading companies in digital images, and we're still growing!  From seriously snarky to sugary sweet to sublimely soulful all the way over to the other side of the super sexy spectrum, you're bound to find all that you need and more to create your paper projects.  Jodie works very hard to provide New Releases and Freebies every week!
If your taste runs to rubber (and you know who you are), you can find Bugaboo Stamps at Totally Stampalicious.  And finally, join the Bugaboo Stamps DT for weekly challenges at Catch the Bug

This week, our challenge is to "Thank Your Teacher."
Create a card or project for a teacher.  Please note that entries which don't follow the theme will not count for the prize draw and may be removed.

You do not need to have a blog to participate. You could post to your online gallery. As long as we have a link to your project it's good to go.

Bugaboo has generously provided the digi stamps for the team to use. Here are the samples made by our team to inspire you.

Once again, we want to remind you that entries which don't follow the theme will not count for the prize draw and may be removed.

Tuesday Throwdown #144

Welcome to Tuesday Throwdown #144. What beautiful entries we had with last week's challenge! They run from the comical to the poignant.  I learned a lot this go around because I'm guilty of not using a lot of sentiments.  I think I will be doing more of them in the future!

Our Guest Designer for April

My name is Kym and my blog is Kym’s Crafty Cards.  I started cardmaking about six years ago and although I can’t work many hours due to my health, I decided that the cards that make I would sell solely to raise funds for different charities.  Just before my 5th anniversary of making cards, I was delighted that I had reached raising £1,600 for different charities.  The cards that I make are varied and obviously depend on the customer requirement.
About 2 years ago I got into stamping – rubber and digital - and all I will say is that I am ADDICTED and the rest is history!!!  I love the ability to stamp and colour in with different mediums (Copics, Promarkers, Spectrum Noirs, watercolours, cosmic shimmers, distress inks, etc.) and also love the ability of stamping on different papers/card stock to get different effects.

I am truly blessed to be on the Design Teams for:  Sweet Pea Stampers, Bearly Mine Designs, Aud Sentiments, and Delicious Doodles.

Here are the samples made by our team, starting with our wonderful Guest Designer, Kym:
